Emu
Emus are Australias largest native bord and the second largest flightless bird in the world, a member of the ratite family along with the Ostrich, Rhea, Cassowary and Kiwi. These huge shaggy birds have bee resident in Australia for at least 80 million years, and are still very much a part of the landscape of arid Australia.
