Armadillo
Three banded Armadillos are the only species of armadillo that can curl up into a true ball. Female armadillos can delay fertilization of an egg long after mating during times of stress. New born Armadillos have soft shells much like babies finger nails which harden as they grow. Armadillos are primarily solitary, although groups of up to 12 have been observed sharing the same den site during cold spells.
