Wallaby
Female wallabies usually mate again within 2 days of giving birth. The fertilized egg from the second pregnancy advances until it measures some 100 cells and then stops until the other Joey has left the pouch. Males will fight for dominance during breeding season, these are usually in the form of “boxing matches”, outside of this wallabies are calm and non-violent animals. Bennets wallaby were introduced to the UK in the 1940’s and still roam in northern England and Scotland.
