To celebrate the release of the Zookeeper movie we are giving you the chance to become a Zookeeper for a morning at Paradise Wildlife Park. Your break starts with an overnight stay at the wonderful De Vere Ponsbourne Park Country House Hotel near Hertford. Ponsbourne Park is surrounded by over 200 acres of park and woodland and is set in a peaceful oasis of the Hertfordshire countryside. The combination of space, tranquility and friendly staff will help you feel quickly at home at Ponsbourne Park. The 19th century house offers a blend of classic elegance brought stunningly up to date by stylish and creative design. The facilities are the perfect tonic for today's hectic lifestyle. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before a game of golf or tennis in the grounds, use the gym or take a dip in the outdoor heated pool (Seasonal June to September).The hotel has 50 en suite bedrooms with free high speed internet access, LCD TV, DDI telephones, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and a tea and coffee tray. Zookeeper Challenge in Paradise for 2 with an overnight stay at the De Vere Ponsbourne Park
After a relaxing night’s stay and a buffet breakfast it is a short under 10 minute drive to the multi-award winning Paradise Wildlife Park in Broxbourne. On your arrival at Paradise your morning starts with drinks in the Discovery Centre where you will receive your welcome pack. Your group will then be greeted by a member of our Animal Park Team, who will take you on a behind the scenes tour of the Animal Park. You will marvel at what takes place on a daily basis at one of the UK’s leading zoos in terms of, animal care, education, conservation, animal activities, off site visits, animal movements, veterinary care, quarantine, preparing food, cleaning, maintenance and enrichment for the animals. You will then assist with one of these very important aspects of zoo life. This could be helping to prepare food, cleaning an enclosure, animal enrichment, or a combination of all of these and more! You will have the opportunity to take photographs and video footage throughout the morning. When your Zookeeper Challenge session is complete you will have time to wash your hands and freshen up before you go to Safari Sam’s Diner for lunch. You are then free to spend the afternoon at your leisure enjoying the animals, shows and attractions at Paradise Wildlife Park.
