The prices to come into the Park vary on whether you are an adult, child or entitled to a concession. You can also choose to pay online at a discounted rate. Q2. How do I get to Paradise Wildlife Park?
PWP is easily accessible by rail; our nearest station is Broxbourne and we organise a courtesy minibus to the Park. If you choose to come by car there is plenty of free parking available; we are close to Junction 25 on the M25 and are clearly signposted from both the South and North on the A10 motorway. Q3. Can I hire a wheelchair?
Yes of course, we have a limited number of wheelchairs available for our guests which are free of charge
Q4. What time does the Park open?
We open every day of the year, except Christmas Day, at 9:00am. We close at 6pm in the Summer and 5pm in Autumn and Winter
Q5. Is it far to walk around the Park?
Paradise Wildlife Park is set in landscaped gardens, with tarmac pathways that allow easy access for wheelchairs and pushchairs. Arranged in specific areas to allow you to get the most out of your visit you can visit our Animal Park, Woodland Railway, Birds of Paradise Arena and play areas; all of which have plenty of seating and picnic tables
Q6. What animals will I be able to see at Paradise Wildlife Park?
Paradise Wildlife Park is home to over 400 animals cared for by a team of dedicated experienced staff and volunteers. We have a series of platforms and walkways which enable our guests of all heights fabulous viewing opportunities across our animal enclosures. Many enclosures also incorporate huge glass windows to allow you to capture memorable moments on your camera
Q7. We come to Paradise Wildlife Park a few times a year, can we buy an annual pass to the zoo?

Q8. Can I adopt an animal at Paradise Wildlife Park?
Many of our animals are available for adoption and full information is available by calling 01992 470490
Q9. Is there an admission charge for carers?
Carers are charged at a concessionary rate when accompanying one of our disabled or special needs guests
Q10. Is there an indoor picnic area?
We have a large marquee and smaller covered areas which, in the event of bad weather conditions, can be used to eat your picnic lunches
Q11. Is smoking allowed within Paradise Wildlife Park?
Smoking is not permitted on the Animal Park. You are not able to smoke in any of our restaurants or in any of the indoor animal areas
Q12. Are dogs allowed at Paradise Wildlife Park?
Unfortunately we do not have facilities for dogs at the Park and cannot allow them onto the Animal Park due to issues of healthcare for our animals. The only exception would be for dogs for our disabled visitors as a matter of need and then we would to be given prior warning in order to organise the visit
Q13. Can I feed the animals? Is it possible to hold any of the animals?
Paradise Wildlife Park has a range of experience packages on offer for visitors, some of which are available to book on the day. You can feed, cuddle and spend the whole day caring for any number of our animal friends. There are also tours and teas overlooking our collection of big cats. Q15. Does Paradise Wildlife Park do anything to help animals in the wild?
Yes loads. Friends of Paradise Wildlife Park is a registered charity (1108609) run entirely by volunteers which donates funds, time and technical support into a wide variety of conservation activities both locally and around the world
Q16. Can I bring a group to the Park?
We welcome groups and can provide maps, event timetables and educational activities or talks to make sure that you get the most out of your day.
There is plenty of free, designated coach parking at Paradise Wildlife Park and as well as free entry the drivers are welcome to collect a voucher for lunch from the Pay Cabin to use in Safari Sam’s Diner. Please advise us when booking if you will be arriving by coach
