Relax and enjoy the Paradise Gardens
We are very proud of the gardens at Paradise Wildlife Park. Our Gardening Team work very hard all year round to create the amazing floral and foliage displays.
The gardens have been developed with three things in mind; pleasure for our visitors, conservation & education and food for our animals.
During late spring and summer our Gardening Team provide the spectacular colour, which is our signature style, through hanging baskets, planter displays, containers and pots.
Follow our Woodland Trail to learn about the preserved woodland surrounding the Park or take a trip on the Bee Trail. Many of the plants and shrubs are wildlife friendly and the trail is a great way to learn how they attract insects for pollination and food.
Our Garden Tours can provide an insight into planting and care of your own garden.
Although our gardens create a wonderful setting for a great day out they also have a practical aspect. Many of the beds and borders grow plants and shrubs suitable for feeds for a number of our animals. Bamboo is a delicious treat for our Red Pandas.
Our aim is to ensure there is something of interest for everyone young or old and to help develop interest and pleasure in conservation. From the giant hanging baskets, bromeliads of the rainforest, to the well tended picnic areas we hope to generate an understanding of horticulture by visual stimulation.
Paradise Wildlife Park is pleased to be holding the Annual Zoo Plant Group conference in September.
