Our Gardens
The gardens at Paradise Wildlife Park, have been developed to provide interest and pleasure for all the family. Our gardens are a continual source of pride to us; every year our guests comment on the fabulous floral displays that our equally fabulous Gardens Team produces, maintains and designs. Members of the UK Zoo Plant Group they are vital to the design process for our enclosures to ensure that the animals really do feel at home. The Gardens Team also like our visitors to feel at home and decorate the pathways and patio areas with fabulous hanging basket and potted displays.
Our aim is to continue to develop the gardens for interest, pleasure and conservation. We hope to generate an interest in horticulture by visual stimulation- "the wow factor". Don't forget that tours of the gardens pointing out interesting plants and features can be arranged by appointment and our gardeners are always willing to answer you questions.
The Woodland
Our ancient woodland is home to some animals indigenous to the area which are now under threat. Deer, owls and foxes are found here to represent British species that would originally have roamed free and we are delighted to say that our efforts to encourage the local wildlife are also attracting butterflies, hedgehogs and bumble bees into the area. When you visiting Paradise Wildlife Park why not take a stroll along the Woodland Walk to enjoy the ambience and see if you can spot the flora & fauna thriving here. For the younger members of your family we have the Woodland Railway* to take the strain and a few dinosaurs along the way to make the trip one they certainly won't forget.
