Daily Shows
Why not take in a show during your day at Paradise?
Watch the Animal Olympics Show Starring "T" the amazing hurdling pig and find out which really is the fastest creature in town or the Creepy Creatures Show with our bugs and beasties. This show introduces you to the dark side, nothing to be scared of but plenty to learn about; snakes, spiders, cockroaches and rats. They’re all here and our Show Team want you to meet them – what are you waiting for?
You can meet Safari Sam in his Weird and Wonderful Show; Come with us on a magical journey to discover the wonderful secrets of our animal friends. Our Show Team will introduce you to some pretty weird facts too; for example did you know that a Pygmy Pig can sit down? Well that’s just one! Learn lots more about our fabulous Parrots; Chester, Bobby & Joseph.
Or watch our Bird Team flying our Birds of Paradise* Feel the wind in your hair and the thrill of flight; well, okay, watch how the birds of Paradise do it. European Eagle Owls and Barn Owls very effectively display their flying skills in the very capable hands of the Bird Team keepers. Our birds make it look easy, well I suppose it is for them! Impressive stuff though and you will be able to meet the stars of the show after and ask their keepers lots of questions.
Shows start at 11.30am and run hourly throughout the day. They are located at either the Jungle Theatre or Bird Presentation Arena.
*weather permitting
Keeper Talks and Feeding Times
On the back of the Park Map is a long list of times with animal names next to them. This is a brilliant list; it means that every time you visit Paradise you can speak to the keeper of a different animal and learn something about them; making every visit different. Or you can find your favourite and visit them every time you visit. Whatever you choose to do the opportunity is there to find out about our animals from the people that know them the best; who also happen to be the ones who can’t stop talking about them!
Paradise Wildlife Park has a dedicated team of Animal Keepers who are more than happy to share their knowledge about the animals in their care at the Park.
You are able to meet our keepers at different animal enclosures throughout the day to hear interesting facts and information. You can even watch at feeding time too!
Meet the Keeper talks and animal feeding times are every 15 minutes from 10.45am to 5.00pm.
