Small Mammals

Corsac Fox

They are heavily hunted for their fur, but are still common. Other than humans and predatory birds are their only enemy/predator. Corsac fox is more social than other foxes. They will share burrows and form hunting packs. In the winter, Corsac foxes have a very dense whitish-grey fur, which becomes sandy to reddish coloured in the summer. Adapted to arid conditions, the Corsac fox can go without food and water for extended periods of time.

DID YOU KNOW? Corsac foxes usually give birth to a litter of between 2 and 6, but can have up to 11 pups!
