Tamiops Squirrel

Tamiops squirrels are also known as Asiatic striped squirrel. They are arboreal mammals that occupy holes in trees. It is found in nearly any habitat with trees, including secondary growth forest, scrub forest and gardens.

DID YOU KNOW? They have thicker coats than many squirrels; it helps to insulate them at high altitudes where nighttime temperatures can drop very low.
