Jaguar Conservation with Carolina Saenz

£20 P/P*
Sun 24th November

Exclusive one off event!

On Sunday 24th November ahead of International Jaguar Day on Friday 29th November, we are honoured to be joined by Carolina Saenz, a Biologist from the National University of Costa Rica. Carolina, working alongside Pacuare Lodge, actively tracks the wildlife, including jaguars and other large mammals, found in the rainforest around the Pacuare River to document their population numbers and movements.

Carolina will share her insights from the Jaguar programme, particularly the use of camera traps to track and better understand the movements of the wildlife. In addition to this, Carolina will also discuss her work with the indigenous community, sharing the knowledge she has gained from her work with the aim of preventing human-wildlife conflict between jaguars and the local people.

  • Arrival at 12pm
  • Each guest will receive a hot drink and a slice of cake
  • Carolinas talk will begin at 12:30pm
  • Raffle available with the chance to hand feed one of our jaguars
  • The event will finish at 2pm
  • Guests can then wander the park until 4:30pm

Tickets cost £20pp – click here to book now!
