Baby Boom Continues at Paradise

Mon 17th April

The baby boom at Paradise continues, with the birth of an endangered Black Lemur

Born on 7th April, first time parents Louise & Bo are taking to parenthood very well, with the baby constantly with the Louise. With the baby being so well looked after, our keepers are unable to tell which gender the baby is but keep an eye on our social channels for updates.

Louise was born at Paradise 12 years ago, with Bo being 7 years old and arriving at the park 4 years ago from Poland. The Black Lemur is an endangered species and are part of the EEP (European Endangered Species Programme).

The baby Black Lemur is currently only on view to the public in their outdoor enclosure, however with the nice weather they have been spending lots of time outside in the sunshine! Pop along and see them, if you’re lucky, you’ll see the baby clinging happily onto mum.
