RIP Nancy

Thu 18th June

It’s with great sadness that we have to announce the passing of Nancy, our miniature pig this May. She has been under veterinary review over the last couple of months for an abdominal mass, and unfortunately this became very large and sadly a very hard decision was made to have Nancy put to sleep.

This is a massive loss for the park as she was one of the biggest characters we had in our farmyard let alone across the site. She was well loved by all the keepers and visitors. The paddocks & farm team adored her and she was like the princess of the farmyard, always happy to see keepers and especially at feeding time when she would make so much noise until she got her food.

Nancy arrived to Paradise Wildlife Park in 2008 as a young little pig and she loved up to the grand age of 12 ½ years old.

She will be greatly missed but always remembered.
