It is with a sad and heavy heart we have to announce the passing of our Chinese Alligator Randel. After a lengthy health battle, we had to make the hard decision to let her go for her welfare.
Randel will be sincerely missed by all the staff that worked with her, she had such a large character and loved interacting with any enrichment provided for her, she could be very stubborn when she wanted, but also had a very gentle nature where her main staff were concerned and would often vocalise towards them when they were feeding or cleaning her out.
She will be deeply missed.
