We’ve teamed up with The Secret Truffletier!

Tue 23rd March

We are so excited to partner with Hertfordshire local business: The Secret Truffletier this Easter. Although Paradise Wildlife Park remains closed for the Easter holidays, their wonderful supporters could win a family ticket to the park and a huge chocolate rabbit; kindly donated by The Secret Truffletier.

If you are a chocolate fan, this Easter competition will be a dream! Make sure to see our Facebook post on how to enter. The Easter rabbit is weighing in at 3kgs of pure, delicious chocolate. Not only will you receive a showstopper Easter treat but also a free family ticket to Paradise Wildlife Park*. The park is home to over 800 animals, including the breath-taking Land of the Tigers, the largest green anaconda on display in the UK, snow leopards, a white lion pride, red pandas, camels, and the tiniest baby pygmy marmosets you will ever see! The World of Dinosaurs is also home to 35 life size prehistoric creatures that come to life. Paradise Wildlife Park not only prides itself on the range of fantastic animals and educating the public on conservation, but also its local friends within Hertfordshire.

The Secret Truffletier is famous for its authentically homemade Swiss chocolate with sustainability and family business at its heart. Much like Paradise Wildlife Park, their journey started with a passion and lots of hard work to make their dream into a reality, which is then passed on through the generations. In an interview with Paradise Wildlife Park, Nadine Luder, Director of The Secret Truffletier discussed how her father, Peter Luder grew their family chocolate shop from humble beginnings to new heights we see today. Luder’s shop can be found in Woolmer Green, Hertfordshire with a bespoke Swiss chocolate factory on site! Fresh and delicious chocolate every day.

Both Paradise Wildlife Park and The Secret Truffletier emphasise the importance of being responsible and sustainable. Whilst Paradise Wildlife Park is supported by the charity Zoological Society of Hertfordshire, the Luders make sure their cocoa beans are responsibly sourced. Nadine remarked: “It is now more vital than ever to ensure our business and chocolate sourcing is taking action in keeping our planet healthy. As a family and business, we have plans to continue and grow these efforts.”

Paradise Wildlife Park wants to thank The Secret Truffletier for their prize donation and to wish good luck to everyone who enters the online competition. Paradise Wildlife Park will be contacting the winner on Monday 29th March 2021.

*Family ticket includes 2 adults, 2 children and must be used by the end of 2021.
