What Will Be Included In Your School Trip To The Zoo?

We aim to deliver interactive educational experiences using resources such as live animals, biofacts and multimedia all linking to the National Curriculum. We offer a fun presentation for preschool children and special need groups aged between 2-4 years with a maximum group limit of no more than 30.

You'll also receive a 'show and tell' session where your class will get to see a few of our animal friends. Meeting a variety of our smaller animals and discover the difference between fur, feather and scale.

All the Vores

Your presenter will take you through understanding all about what animals eat, including whether animals are herbi-, carni-, or omni-vores and how animal diets link up into food chains!

Camouflage

Take a look at animal coats, colours and patterns! We will explore why animals use camouflage and how it helps them to survive.

Fur, Feathers and Scales

Ever wondered what makes a mammal a mammal? Or a bird a bird? Take your chance to get hands on with some animal artefacts and discover what makes these skin coverings so successful

Helping Habitats – 2018 EXCLUSIVE!

Discover the world through an interactive session of habitats and where they are found in the world. Then help us to put the animals back in their rightful homes. You’ll also learn what is threatening these habitats and how we can help to save them.
