New Graphic Designer Opportunity


Paradise Wildlife Park isn’t just an award-winning visitor attraction, it’s a leading conservation and education charity that’s helping to prevent the extinction of threatened species all over the world.
We are now looking for a creative and passionate Graphic Designer to produce and manage design solutions for a variety of uses (including websites, product graphics, email templates, social media graphics, brand campaigns, signage, promotional material, literature, photography, habitat/attraction design and visual creation).

The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, be meticulous when it comes to detail and extremely customer focussed within a creative approach.

If you’d love the opportunity to get involved with editing promotional artwork and developing onsite signage, to engage customers and to help increase awareness of conservation issues whilst enhancing secondary spend, this could be the job for you.

Casual Park Services Operatives (Weekends & School/Bank Holidays)


The Park Services Team are one of the only departments who sees every single guest that visits us. So, if you want to work in one of the parks most fun environments then this position could be for you! We are looking for highly motivated, friendly, bubbly people who know how to go the extra mile to ensure someone has a great day.
Our aim is for every customer to have a brilliant experience, every time they visit, and part of that is to ensure we maintain a clean, safe, family friendly environment. As one of our Park Services Team, you’ll be part of making that happen, whether you’re manning the zebra crossing, picking up litter, or being out and about on the Park providing information and looking after our customers’ needs. We want people with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high energy environment, who can greet everyone with a genuine smile plus has the ability to connect with customers and make them feel valued.
To join our Park Services Team, you’ll need to be confident in welcoming and dealing with diverse groups of people. Friendly, courteous and helpful behaviour should come naturally to you and you’ll be expected to work well both as part of a team and independently. Good communication skills (attentive listening, verbal communication and eye contact) are essential, as is the willingness to work flexible hours (especially on weekends and during school holidays).

Section Leader: Reptiles, Lower Vertebrates & Invertebrates (LVI)


An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to join our LVI Team as Section Leader, taking responsibility for a range of snakes, lizards, chelonians, fish, crocodilian and invertebrates, as well as supervising and developing the sections staff & volunteers. Our Amazon & Beyond building provides one of the best large snake exhibits in the world, so this really is an opportunity not to miss!

Our Section Leaders are part of the senior animal park team here at PWP and are responsible for overseeing the day to day running of their section, helping achieve the short and long-term objectives of ZSH. This includes planning and contributing practically to husbandry and welfare routines, getting involved in ZSH’s visitor education programmes & experiences and managing the Keeper Team, volunteers, and work-experience students working on section.

The successful applicant will take an active LVI Keeper role, including full husbandry duties (such as general enclosure care, food provision, training and enrichment). Responsible for the welfare of the animals, the day to day running of the section and the supervision and development of staff, this is a diverse role requiring excellent organisation and communication skills, the ability to stay calm under pressure and a natural ability to motivate and inspire others.

The successful applicant must have a minimum of five years’ experience working within a zoo environment. Experience working with relevant species is also essential.
