Our Life is Wildlife

The Zoological Society of Hertfordshire (ZSH) is our registered charity. We have a very knowledgeable and passionate team of paid staff and volunteers, who both for our amazing animals animals and raise funds to support wildlife conservation projects, both in the UK and around the globe. Our Registered Charity Number is 1108609.

Whilst the projects we support vary from year to year (ranging from indigenous British species such as hedgehogs and water voles, to red pandas and tigers), a key focus for ZSH is the conservation, in their natural habitat, of many of the threatened and endangered species you will see at Paradise Wildlife Park.

All profits from the ZSH Conservation Cabin in our World of Animals go to support these great causes, and regular special fund raising events continue to prove popular.
Past ZSH events have included our Big Cat Nights, Pamper Evenings & Native Species Weekends (check out our new and events pages for details of upcoming fundraisers - we'd love you to come along!).
We are also incredibly grateful for the kind donations we receive, as we simply wouldn't be able to support such fantastic causes without them.
