Red-Necked Wallaby

Wallabies are a marsupial/pouched mammal from Australia.

No different to kangaroos in habits, just smaller which means they can live in habitats with dense plant cover.

Red-necked wallabies get their name from the red fur on their neck and shoulders. When born they are embryonic weighing less than a gram, and they must immediately drag themselves to their mothers teats which are enclosed in the pouch. There, it will stay for six months.
