Our Junior Zookeeper Experience is a unique, fun, and exciting experience for any child wishing to be a zookeeper. With a host of fantastic activities planned, this is the perfect chance to see how our zookeepers look after our range of animals. Come along and share the delight of being a park zookeeper with the opportunity to experience everything that this role has to offer!
To make sure that your experience starts off on the right track you will begin with complimentary refreshments in the Discovery Centre. You will then be greeted by one of our Animal Park team who will give you a health and safety briefing and explain in more detail the timetable of your animal activities.
As you make your way to the Animal Park your zookeeper will keep you entertained with information about the Paradise Wildlife Park animals, and how our highly skilled and devoted team care for them on a day to day basis.
A Junior Zookeepers experience is unique depending on what is happening at the Park at the time of your visit. Whilst shadowing your keeper you will have the opportunity to help care for a range of animals at the zoo, including the chance to meet some of our more exotic residents; making this a unique experience that your junior zookeeper in the making is sure to remember!
As you complete your zookeeper activities you will have the opportunity to learn a number of interesting facts about what goes on behind the scenes at one of the UK’s leading zoos in conservation, breeding, animal movements and veterinary care. With all of this newly gained knowledge and animal experience your child is certain to be the envy of their friends!
