It comes with great sadness that Paradise Wildlife Park must announce the passing of Snoopy, our Asian Short-Claw Otter.
Snoopy was born here at Paradise in 2009 and always loved saying hello to our visitors as they walked past his habitat, fondly being known for his noisy character. Snoopy’s favourite food was crayfish and could often be seen enjoying his tasty snacks near his pool throughout the day.
Snoopy in his older life developed some underlying health conditions and after a vet check yesterday it was clear they had worsened. Unfortunately, Snoopy passed away in the late afternoon of the 19th of December.
Snoopy was loved by all the team here at Paradise and will be sorely missed by his incredible keeping team and all the visitors who met him.
