Sharing the Wonder of Wildlife

Hertfordshire Zoo is a registered charity (no.1108609), the Zoo has a very knowledgeable and passionate team to care for the animals and raise funds to support wildlife conservation projects both in the UK and around the globe.

Whilst the projects we support vary from year to year (ranging from indigenous British species such as hedgehogs and water voles, to red pandas and tigers), a key focus for Hertfordshire Zoo is the conservation, in their natural habitat, of many of the threatened and endangered species you will see at the Zoo.

All profits from the Hertfordshire Zoo Conservation Cabin in our World of Animals go to support these great causes, and regular special fund raising events continue to prove popular.
Past charity events have included our Big Cat Nights, Pamper Evenings & Native Species Weekends (check out our events pages for details of upcoming fundraisers - we'd love you to come along!).
We are also incredibly grateful for the kind donations we receive, as we simply wouldn't be able to support such fantastic causes without them.
